Roma put one foot in the Europa League quarter-finals with a scintillating 4-0 home victory against Brighton on Thursday night. Roma took the lead in the first half through Tammy Abraham, who headed home from close range. Nicolò Zaniolo doubled the lead just before half-time with a stunning strike from outside the box.
The second half was all Roma, with the hosts adding two more goals through Lorenzo Pellegrini and Gianluca Mancini. Brighton were unable to find a way back into the game, and their European adventure ended in Rome.
